October 19-23: Amsterdam Dance Event
Skip sleep. Sleep is overrated. Especially during ADE week. The Amsterdam Dance Event is a yearly highlight for dance lovers – flying in from all across the globe to see top notch DJ’s and artists play at over 450 events over five jam-packed days and night. More than 2000 artists fly into Amsterdam and do their thing on 100 locations for 200,000 clubbers, making it one big melting pot of styles, big names, rising talents and music freaks like you. ADE is the dance lover’s Mecca, and you know it. 24 hour parties happen, but also debates and panels at the official Amsterdam Dance Even music conference. But no worries, you can easily skip the official part and just go from Amsterdam club to event to party to festival, when ADE is ON, party mode is on. And it’s happening everywhere. From the Heineken Music Hall to Paradiso, Melkweg, NDSM Werf and RADION to De School and Escape. You can sleep when you get home.

November 29 & 30: Halloween
Dress up like the inner clown you really are, or go full-on witch, scare people on the Amsterdam streets with horrible masks or simply be a zombie. Halloween is the perfect time to NOT be yourself. But it’s also the perfect time for costume parties in Amsterdam! There’s always a fun crowd at many indoor parties during Halloween weekend. Dress up, visit the local party store and party in the Amsterdam clubs for your favorite November weekend. There’s many different locations that celebrate Halloween, with great techno and house parties. RADION is one of them, but there’s various other clubs that will leave the dresscode be for that weekend. Fun!

Mid-November & December: St Nicholas (Sinterklaas)
If you’re going Dutch, you gotta do it the Dutch way. And Sinterklaas is one of them. An ancient old, Dutch tradition about an old dude who brings gifts to kids can only mean one thing: PARTY! Depending on whether you’ve been naughty or nice, treat yourself to a weekend trip to Amsterdam and enjoy the celebration with some of the best parties. Techno clubs, house events and underground parties happen these weekends, so make sure you enjoy ‘Pakjesavond’, that one special night you’ll be treated to the gift of banging, great music!

December 23-25: Christmas
You’d be surprised how many people HATE Christmas. Getting your face stuffed with food, that annoying uncle to sit next to you and bother you with his boring stories all night. Or not getting the present you thought you would. Yes, Christmas can be pretty disappointing. Lucky there’s another way to make sure you’re making this Christmas a memorable one. Skip those boring family meetings and head off to Amsterdam for club parties and late night dancing, indoor happenings and weekenders in clubs such as De School, Shelter, De Marktkantine, RADION, Depot and many other locations. Jingle bells all the way to Amsterdam!

December 31st: New Year’s Eve
Uncork the damn champagne, screw those New Year’s resolutions and head off to Amsterdam. No need to see any of the fireworks, it’ll be much more booming inside the underground clubs! Welcome the new year with parties all around Amsterdam, for indoor festivals, techno nights and house events, all happening at places like NDSM, Melkweg, RADION and many other clubs. Keep an eye on Door’s party agenda and make sure to book your tickets early, because these New Year’s Eve events tend to sell out quickly!
